Crowns:

When a tooth needs a restoration, sometimes the best choice is an all-porcelain crown. It’s precision-crafted in a dental laboratory, so it may take two or more appointments to restore your tooth with a porcelain crown.

When a tooth is missing, a 3-unit bridge can be a good choice for replacing it. In a 3-unit bridge, an artificial tooth is connected on either side to crowns, which are placed on the neighboring teeth to hold the bridge in place.

When a tooth or several teeth are missing, a dental implant with a crown or bridge is an excellent treatment for replacing it.

Composite fillings:

When a tooth needs a restoration, a composite resin filling can be a good choice.

When a tooth has decayed and developed a cavity, it’s important to remove the decay and restore the tooth. Treatment will stop the decay from growing larger and weakening the tooth, and prevent bacteria from infecting the inner layers of the tooth.

Cosmetic Dentistry:

If you have a slight imperfection in your teeth, improve your smile with Bonding.

When you’re missing teeth, you have several choices for replacing them. You can choose a bridge, an implant-supported crown or bridge, or a removable partial denture.

No matter how well you take care of your teeth, they can darken and stain over time. We can provide an at-home whitening system to help you get back your youthful smile.

dental cleanings:

We recommend a checkup every six months, so we can prevent and identify a variety of oral health problems.

We recommend that you get a routine dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar.

The goal of scaling and root planing is to eliminate the source of periodontal infection.

After a thorough exam, we will discuss your treatment needs. While periodontal disease is a chronic disease, it can be maintained with proper treatment and a strict homecare regiment.

Periodontal disease cannot be cured; it can only be controlled. That’s why we need to examine you every three months.

Bitewing x-rays are the most common x-rays taken in dentistry. We use them to find cavities between the teeth, tartar on the roots, worn-out fillings, and the receding bone levels of periodontal disease. Digital x-ray sensors are quite sensitive, so the amount of radiation exposure is very low.

A panoramic X-ray is a single photo that captures an overall view of your teeth, jaws, and surrounding areas. Digital X-rays have advantages over film X-rays. Because there are no chemicals to process, you see your image faster. This computer image can be enhanced for a better diagnosis.

dentures:

When all your upper or lower teeth are missing, a full denture is a good treatment for replacing them. The first step in creating a full denture is to take impressions. An accurate model of your mouth is made from these impressions, and the lab uses this model to make the denture base.

When all the teeth in an arch are missing, an excellent treatment for replacing them is a denture secured with implants.

Once the inner pulp layer of a tooth has become infected, your choices are limited. You could have the tooth extracted, or you could choose to save your tooth with root canal therapy.

When many teeth in an arch are missing, a partial denture is a good treatment for replacing them. Partials are removable appliances that are held in place by clasps that fit around some of the remaining teeth.

root canals:

When the pulp of a tooth becomes infected or dies, root canal therapy is necessary to save the tooth. The pulp is a soft tissue made up of nerves and blood vessels. It’s contained in the pulp chamber, which extends from the middle of the tooth, down through the root canals.

After a tooth has had root canal therapy, we recommend placing a crown on the tooth.
